LINX Surgery for GORD

A short video showing the laparoscopic insertion of the LINX® Reflux Management System for the treatment of GORD.  The device is implanted under general anaesthetic and takes around 45 minutes with patients usually able to go home the same day and eat normally.

Post-op Barium Swallow

A barium swallow is a test used to assess swallowing ability that involves taking an x-ray film.  In this video, the test is used to show post-operatively how the LINX device is working when a patient eats and drinks.  The beads of the device can be seen opening when a bolus of food is swallowed and returning to the closed position.
