A highly respected Consultant General Surgeon, Professor Fullarton has been treating patients with GORD for over 20 years with laparoscopic surgery and in 2014 was trained in the use of the LINX® Reflux Management System. Published data have shown LINX® to be an effective treatment for GORD with a very favourable side effect profile.
Professor Fullarton also piloted a revolutionary type of non-invasive radio frequency ablation (RFA) therapy for treating Barrett’s sufferers in Scotland, known as HALO. He has successfully treated a number of patients using HALO, the significance of which has been recognised by The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).
